Which golf set is better for a beginner?

I have been looking around and have narrowed my mind down to these two women’s golf sets. I am just looking for something cheap and decent to get me started.

Which one do you think is better for a beginner golfer? Do you have any other set suggestions in the price range of 300$?

you should try them and decide yourself, it’s the only way to really know
and you should consider going for regular clubs (for men)
to some women they are better
Like myself, I started playing golf 2 years ago with some old taylormade women golf clubs and they didn’t worked with me, later on a pro told me those clubs weren’t right for me that I needed men clubs.
I am now the proud owner of a callaway diablo golf set.
the best buy I’ve ever made hahah
but really you should try trhem to know

I am a 13 year old boy who is 5 Feet tall exactly and i need to get a golf club set?

i am 5 feet tall, and i wont grow enough to use a mens golf club set, for about three years, and im too tall for a junior club set. Should i get a womens set of clubs for 3 years, Then get a mens set? Answers from people with a lot of knowledge in golf would be appreciated!

Your idea of getting women’s clubs sounds good. The junior clubs are not only too short but the shafts will be too soft. Definitely go for used clubs, as these will be temporary at your age. Check out the used clubs at second hand sports stores like Play It Again, and look at your local Salvation Army store, they practically give them away. Remember, as you grow, any shaft can be extended a few inches, and grips are easily replacable and adjusted for thickness. You can learn to do this yourself quite easily.

Womens Golf Flip Flops?

I played with a lady that had golf gators flip flops. They were very comfortable, had soft cleats and rocket styles tee holders. I really do not care what brand they are I am looking for golf flip flops. I have been surfing the web for over an hour to no avail. I have found plenty for Men, Like the Reef Mick Spackler Sandal, but of course am unable to find women’s. Any one have a link to Women’s golf flip flops I will take it.

PS. Already found them on TGW but they have pink only. Also I did email golfgators in hopes they give me some info.

Try this site out:

what makes a ladies golf club a ladies?

i found new golf clubs online and they were classified as ladies, why?

Ladies golf clubs typically have a shaft that is more flexible (add speed to the club head) and has a head that weighs less. The length of the shaft is determined by the distance from the fingertips to the floor and not due to the sex of the player. The lighter head and the shaft with more flex are designed to assist with a player that is not as strong to be able to control the club and yet generate speed to allow a good strike on the ball. A majority of senior clubs also share these characteristics.

can my 10 year old use ladies golf clubs?

My 10 year old is 5ft 1" and his hands are the same size as mine… a friend told me he can use ladies clubs sine the kids clubs are so small for him… Is this true? Or should he get mens? Thanks!
Thanks for all the replies! I guess I should have specified that I am his mom posting… :) I didn’t realize it was coming up under my hubby - so my son’s hands are as big as mine (ladies)… Thanks so much for the great advice - it has all been so helpful!! Now we are going shopping!!!! ;)
Yes, women’s will fit fine and be light and flexible enough for him to maneuver, they also make teen sets as well (which aren’t much different, but maybe a bit cheaper). Mens will be too long, heavy and stiff. He should do okay with women’s or teen’s until he’s ready to move to men’s (most-likely around age 14), depending on height and swing speed.

I bought two Womens golf clubs by Accident, but I hit realy well with them?

I’am an amateur Male golfer and I didn’t know the difference between Mens and Womens clubs (okay the color was a darker tone of pink but I didn’t think into it much). I bought a 3 wood and a 5 wood tommy armour, that I have been hitting unbelievably with. I just found out they are Womens’s clubs!! But so what right? I can drive 200 yard plus with the 3 wood off the tee. I guess i like the feel better, I’am 5′7 so I’am not a big guy. Hell they make a Driver version, same as the 3 wood and 5 wood. Maybe I should buy that too. LOL

Hey, I guess you swing both ways, then!

hit golf ball with more power for beginners?

I’m a 11 year old golfer hoping to find out how to get some more juice on my woods hybrids and driver. I averaged with my driver around 125 yards so I guess you figure I cant hit my other clubs very far. most of the time on a par 4 yardage 300 yards It would it would take me 3 shots to get up to the green or around it. If I could get my shots farther then I could seriously lower my score. I averaged mid 50s on 9 holes when ever I play at my local golf course. The golf courses yardage is 5047 off of the womens tees. Thanks for answering.

strenth and power does not matter on how far the ball goes…
your body position is the most important thing.
