Michelle Wie…..GET THE HELL OUTTA GOLF?!?!?!?

Am I right? The girl is awful. Maybe good in general, but a HORRIBLE professional. First off, women shouldnt be allowed to play with the men, you would never let a woman play in the NFL, NBA, MLB or in college they would never mix, why in golf? Second, she sucks and will never win a tournament with the men, hell she cant even beat the women.

In saying that, I actually wouldnt have a problem with Sorenstam playing the men b/c she is proven she is by far the best woman golfer in the world, but Wie hasnt proven anything…absolutely anything. This is a joke…….Wie doesnt even EARN her way there, she is just givin it b/c she's a damn girl….

Where do you stand? She should be in mens, she shouldnt, or she should after she proves herself?

Also, they should let the men play in the womens tourneys if they are gonna let the women play in the mens…then they wouldnt like it so much.
How has she ever proven herself? She hasnt even won against women……….not a single professional victory…she's terrible

I just think of her as the comic relief. Every tournament she can be counted on to do something hilarious… heat exhaustion, cheating, firing caddy, coming in dead last.

I especially like it when she makes comments like today when she said, "I'm not really playing that bad…" after she shot 9-over! Or after her last dead-last finish with the men when she said, "I'm going to have to hit the weights…", as if more strength will somehow help keep the ball in the fairway.

My personal hope is that she sets an unbreakable record for most dead-last finishes in a row and/or that she gets in a fist fight with her caddy or that feisty Morgan Pressel! That would be great. Or, if she got caught cheating for a 3rd time – I'd love to hear her expanation for that.

And sooner or later we will all get the satisfaction of seeing her limp back to the LPGA with her tail between her legs.

But hey, she made $20M her first year in endorsements so even if she is the Anna Kornikova of golf she gets the last laugh at the bank. Lets all boycott Nike!

I want a joke on ladies putting in golf?

Fastly I need a graceful joke on it for a formal party

Here's a good one:

What's the difference between a woman making a 15 foot putt and a man making a 15 foot putt?

Ans: In the clubhouse after the round, the man will describe the putt as a "slippery, downhill 30 footer with all kinds of break" and a woman will ask, ".. did I make a 9 or a 10 on that hole?"

What are the best golf clubs for a 13 year old?

I have a thirteen year old son who loves to golf and he has gone through many junior golf sets so i think it is time for him to move up and i am not sure if i should get him a mens set with a high flex or get him a ladies set.I have heard from many people that gettinh a ladies set for a thirteen year old is what you are supposed to get, is this ture?

Thanks,
John

I wouldn't say your supposed to do that. Ladies clubs are a good idea though, mainly because of size. As you now, ladies clubs are slightly shorter than mens. Depending on size I would say for a thirteen year old mens clubs are probably too big. Be aware though you will need to buy a mens set within a few years once he has grown a bit, which can happen before you know it.
Definitely high flex and grafite though, what ever you choose.

Golf constitution how do you change constitution to be an open constitution, allow Ladies full member status?

Looking to change golf club constitution to give equal right to ladies

I'd suggest a petition to the club owner of both lady players and the male club members.
I find it hard to swallow in this day and age that some golf clubs still do not allow ladies to play apart from on "ladies days" if at all.
Personally I won't play at a club that discriminates against women and I won't let any males I know play there either.

is it frownded upon at all golf clubs to have lady members?

Only when they are on the course. They are quite useful in the clubhouse.

Golf- which set would u choose if u were just begining golf??

http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3002546#1 – this one
OR

http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2877812

which do u think would be better !! and also does it matter if the golf set is mens or womens ? wat is the difference>>?!

THanks!

Well, I noticed the first set has a hybrid replacement for the 3, 4, and 5, so I would choose that one for a beginner, but only if you can get it in a ladies set. (I assume your a women?) If you can't get it in a ladies set then get the other or a different set of ladies clubs because……

The shaft will be more flexible and conducive to most ladies swings. And….. they will be a little lighter, allowing you to get more speed. And…..the grips will be smaller and will better fit most ladies hands. Have fun, it's a great game.

What is the origin of the word "golf"? Does it stand for "gentleman only, ladies forbidden"?

Did the word "golf" originate as an acronym for "gentlemen only, ladies forbidden"? That's a common old wives' tale. Or, in this case, more likely an old husband's tale.
No, "golf" is not an acronym for "gentlemen only, ladies forbidden." If you've ever heard that, forget it immediately. Better yet, find the person who told you and let them know it's not true.

Like most modern words, the word "golf" derives from older languages and dialects. In this case, the languages in question are medieval Dutch and old Scots.

The medieval Dutch word "kolf" or "kolve" meant "club." It is believed that word passed to the Scots, whose old Scots dialect transformed the word into "golve," "gowl" or "gouf."

By the 16th Century, the word "golf" had emerged.

Which golf clubs…?

I am looking to buy a complete set of golf clubs for ladies. I am just starting out and want to get good, but I do not want to spend a lot of money on clubs until I reach my goal. I was looking at Dicks Sporting Goods and found a few complete ladies sets. The name brands were Slazenger, Acuity, and Wilson. Which ones do you think are the best? and does it make you look bad if you are on a course and don't have real expensive one?
Another brand was Cougar Ti Cat.

Slazenger is a good name in golf and I would go with those clubs. In addition, purchase a sand wedge and 56 or 58 degree wedge for short chips. As your game develops and you want to go to an expensive set then I would choose Callaways. Instead of 2-4 irons purchase hybrid clubs for these irons. The sweet spot is larger for accuracy and distance. Rememer also to have a pro test your swing to adjust the clubs accordingly. Because of my upright swing my clubs are adjusted for +4.
Since you are starting out then no you don't look bad. Instead you look smart because why spend the money when just starting out and besides even inexpensive clubs are so much better today than clubs of old.

Women golfers are hotter these days?

I remember when I used to be disgusted watching womens golf now I am turned on. Is it just me being older and more desperate?

The LPGA is a business and they realized that they were loosing market share with all the overweight masculine looking women on tour. They have encouraged them to try to look a little more feminine to widen the appeal. You're also getting older and more desperate.
