Any set of Ladies graphite shaft clubs should be pretty light. Don’t think it’ll be too hard to find.

I saw it in a few trivia sites, and apparently that’s what they called it when the game was invented and before women had any respect. Is this true?
"Golf" originates from the medieval Dutch word "kolf" meaning "club". It does not mean: Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden!
I am needing some new shirts for this coming golf season, and all the nike dry fit ones I have are too short, so i was wondering if there were any brands that run a little bit longer????
Try under armour, they usually fit better. Good luck
I am a 5’2" female golfer who is looking to purchase new irons. I have been playing with petite length clubs for a couple of years, but have read that they decrease distance but provide more accuracy. Anyone have a suggestion?
The proper length club has nothing to do with how tall a person is. What matters is if your arms are in proportion to your body. A person with short arms will need longer clubs, and vice versa. A longer club creates a wider arc in the swing, thus more clubhead speed at impact and more distance. Accuracy is a matter of the clubhead being square at impact (up to you not the length of club). If you go to a reputable retailer for the clubs (Golf Galaxy, Golfsmith) they will fit you for length (as well as loft and lie) at no extra charge.
generally women’s and seniors balls will be a softer compression, a standard mens ball is generally 90 compression as apposed to a Lady’s ball being 70-80 compression. the less compression stops the ball feeling like you’re hitting a rock. the higher the compression the higher the club head speed needed to compress the cover of the golf ball to achieve maximum distance.
can anyone recommend a beginners ladies golf club set for my wife? thanks!
here’s a site that reviews ladies golf club sets

I would like to watch the ladies golf tour but I am not able to find a channel that covers all the main events. Is there such a channel or will it be a hit and miss affair to get coverage
Good luck with that right now- besides the season being over, coverage was sporadic and all over the airwaves. That should change in 2010, as The Golf Channel has a new agreement with the LPGA, and will broadcast a majority of their tournaments.
I have a set given to me but i have no idea how to tell who they are for.
good grief on all the answers so far
women’s clubs, in general, and compared to men’s clubs:
have lighter heads and shafts,
have more flexible shafts
have lower bend/flex/kick point shafts
have smaller butts on teh shafts (smaller grips)
are shorter in finished length
may have more feminine colours or names
Compare them to a men’s set and go from there.
Google is also your friend if the heads or shafts have a name on them.
He’s ended the wars in the Middle East. That’s what that meeting was about.
Now he’s going to see if he can raise funds for the Democratic Party to bail out Acorn.
Also is it against any rules to play a ladies ball? Me being a man of course.
No- it’s the low compression that makes companies call them "lady" golf balls, but really, anyone with a slow swing speed would benefit. Some companies like to refer to them as "Laddie"- lady balls targeted towards men.
There’s nothing in the rules that says you can’t play a "lady" ball. Just like there’s nothing wrong with having L or A (senior) flex shafts in your clubs if that’s what is necessary to optimize your game.
