Golf constitution how do you change constitution to be an open constitution, allow Ladies full member status?
Looking to change golf club constitution to give equal right to ladies
I'd suggest a petition to the club owner of both lady players and the male club members.
I find it hard to swallow in this day and age that some golf clubs still do not allow ladies to play apart from on "ladies days" if at all.
Personally I won't play at a club that discriminates against women and I won't let any males I know play there either.

i don't think the constitution should be changed to allow full status to ladies..I don't want to watch ladies play in PGA tour events only to see them finish dead last every time..wheres the enjoyment in that?…if the LPGA tour wants to compete with the PGA tour on an equal basis(allow women and men to compete together) then they have to change their rules regarding men being allowed to play the LPGA tour..as it is now, you must be a "woman" to play on the ladies tour. How come we just cant let this issue die?..until the PGA of America decides to sanction a full time "mixed" tour, the concept of men and women playing together is nothing but a marketing ploy and i might add a complete joke!
At private clubs i dont see a problem with prohibiting one sex or the other…why cant men and women enjoy a round of golf without the company of their spouses?..if they really want to play together..go find a public or semi-private course…!

You would probably have to get a majority or all the members of the comittee to agree to change it. To be honest it's unlikely that they would because it would probably annoy some of the members.
If you don't like a golf club's constitution then don't join it, that's the whole point of private golf clubs – the members make up the rules so if they want to give ladies a different status it's up to them.

It depends what the Constitution of the club says. Does it take a majority vote of committee, unanimous vote of committee, majority vote of voting members, unanimous vote of voting members to actually change the Constitution.
If it's a case of physically writing it up and changing it – you have to take out all references to men or gentlemen and change it to member(s). Take out all references to he or him and change to he/she or him/her. Also make all charges the same, fees, etc.
Hope this helps

if you are a golf club etc normally it would come down to a member vote if you are a private members club, how ever if you a standard golf club looking to increase you revenue by introducing females at the same time expand your membership, you need to talk to the English golf union and they will come out and measure and rate your course, you may have introduce new tee's etc, one other suggestion introduce a ladies morning possibly 1 or 2 mornings a week which would boost your revenue.
