what is the Best golf driver?
i was leaning towards the Nike sumo2 Sasquatch, but i really have no idea.
Help me out.
BTW i am 14 years of age so i dont kno if i need mens or womens or what?
I agree that you should hit several brands & models (and lofts), & see which one suits you best, not paying attention to what is the most popular, because it really depends on your individual swing & strength.
At the same time, though, try to stick with at least the well-respected brands, because at least then you know you are getting something with high quality materials & design. Don't take the first part of the answer & wind up going after off-brands.

Try out several drivers. The one you hit the best, could end up saving you big bucks. When I was shopping for a driver, I had five different test drivers on the range. Try different lofts also. Don't get stuck on name brand.

You really just need to test them out yourself because this is just peoples opinions on clubs and it may not be the same opinion you have.

i have played taylormade burner, taylor made r5, nike sumo, callaway big bertha, and callaway hyper x.
i prefer the taylormade burner over any of the other clubs, and it is the cheapest. if you are leaning toward the nike sumo2 i would highly recommend that you try it first because it looks alot better than it is.
i think anybody that has played a taylormade driver will tell you that there is no better brand driver than it.

the nike sumo2 saspqatch sounds like an aluminum bat, don't get it. I use a cleveland hibore xls. It's a great driver and it's really popular.

Well I say go to a big golf store with a staff that knows what they r doing and test the clubs and sizes. All r good,Callaway,Taylormade,Cobra is great for women that are short.
In the end whatever feels most comfy not the brand name or price.$200 or $1000 just try them all out!Good luck!

If you are looking for a good driver and you are willing to pay a lot the new r9 is pretty sweet. If you are a decent handicap i would recommend that and maybe get it reshafted to help you trajectory and length. You can also switch to which ball flight to play whether a fade or a draw.

if your a guy definitely mens if your a girl definitely womens….. i say callaway is the best! i used 2 have the ft-i (now only $200) but i just got a Men's Big Bertha 460 (from like 2007 or 2008) which i hit so much better! it's a great driver and since it's older it's pretty cheap… not even $200 i think…. nike sumo or taylor made burner would probably be the next best thing
