What happens at your first session

Nervous? Most ladies are, the first time. Here's how the 90 minutes usually go, so there are no surprises.

  1. Arrive and say helloHead to the range and look out for the group. Your coach will introduce you, so you won't be stood on your own.
  2. Meet your coach and the groupNo more than 12 women, all levels. Tell your coach where you are with your golf and anything you'd like help with. No clubs? We'll lend you some.
  3. Warm upA gentle warm-up to loosen off before you hit a ball.
  4. The session topicEvery session has a theme, from putting to your first drive. Your coach shows you, then helps you one to one while you practise.
  5. A natter afterwardsPlenty of ladies stay for a drink and a chat. It's how most friendships here start.
Moving or cancelling

You can move or cancel your session up to 24 hours before it starts. We can't refund a missed session, because your place could have gone to another golfer, so do check you can make it before you book.

Free taster sessions

A few times a year we run free taster sessions at different venues, so you can try it before you spend a penny. When one's on, you'll see a green "Free taster on" tag next to the venue.
